East Wake High School will hold a curriculum fair for rising 9th graders and their parents from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in the campus auditorium, 5101 Rolesville Road, Wendell.
Students and parents will have the opportunity to learn about the academic programs, registration process and courses offerings, to learn about the graduation and promotion requirements, and how to successfully transition to high school, meet the teaching faculty and ask questions and receive feedback.
Honor Society Induction
Forty-seven Corinth Holders High School students were presented memberships in the National Honor Society in an induction ceremony held April 2. NHS members are expected to maintain their GPA as well as participate in many different activities during the school year.

The Praise Prom is a Christian alternative prom created for area high school homeschoolers, but open to any rising 9th grade to 12th grade student and alumni up to age 21. The prom will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the Wendell Community Center, 601 W. Third St., Wendell. Cost is $45 to $60. Register at praiseprom.com/home.
