McGuire joins Senior Center staff
Susan McGuire, Senior Care Coordinator for Resources for Seniors, will be at the Eastern Wake Senior Center on Wednesdays providing information and referrals.
Her work experience in the field of aging includes developing and implementing programs in the areas of health and wellness; spiritual wellbeing; family issues; senior living options; Alzheimer’s disease and other chronic illnesses; healthy aging; ageism; hoarding; community resources; and staff training.
She meets one-on-one with people to assist them in finding the resources they need for living a safe and healthy life. She helps people with their Medicare questions and enrollment. McGuire has worked in the field of aging for 15 years. She is a graduate of N.C. State University with a masters degree in Family Life and Youth Development, and specializes in gerontology and coaching.

Knightdale Pediatrics, a chamber member since 2007, recently moved into a larger more accommodating space, just across the street from its original location.
The recipient is a business in the Knightdale area who has demonstrated a long-term commitment of service to enhance quality of life in the community or has made an outstanding contribution to the Knightdale community.
