It’s stay alive in the conference championship time for both the Knights and Comets.
Clayton was stunned in a 24-21 loss at Harnett Central Friday and the Knightdale offense continues to struggle to click, averaging 13 points per game while the team has allowed its opponents an average of 23.6 points through the first five weeks.

Franklinton has been impressive so far, averaging more than 40 points a game and holding opponents to under 20. The Pirates come back after a week off and will be tested in their final tuneup before Two Rivers 3A Conference play.
