Sam Marsh to play football at Greensboro College

Why Greensboro? “I felt right at home when I first stepped on the campus and I knew right then I could make a positive impact there.”

Major: Exercise Science

Most Memorable: “Beating the powerhouse high schools like Wake Forest my sophomore year and Garner my senior year, because even though we were the underdogs we came out ready to play and shocked the world.”

Notable: Sam (6-foot-3, 275 pounds) was named Greater Neuse River All-Conference at offensive line as a senior and earned honorable mention as a junior. He was also a team captain his senior season.

East Wake coach John Poulnott: “From Day One, Sam has committed himself to making our team better by setting a great example for his teammates in the classroom. His willingness to play through adversity will make him a favorite at Greensboro College.”
