EWA middle school soccer unbeaten

The East Wake Academy Middle School girls soccer team made it through the entire regular season without ever knowing what it feels like to lose a game.

The team, coached by Sam Owoh, capped off its regular season campaign with a pair of 7-0 wins – Wednesday over Vance Charter and Thursday over Kestrel Heights.

The Eagles are set to enter the Central Carolina Middle School Conference tournament this week with a 15-0-1 mark. Their one tie came against Magellan Charter, 1-1, on April 11.

Their only other close games were two against Neuse Charter and one each against Franklin Academy and Woods Charter, all four of which EWA won by one goal.
