Wake County sheriff's deputies first arrested Christian Qwan Alston on Sept. 12 on charges of breaking into and stealing a car, and Thursday they charged that he broke into 13 vehicles and burglarized two homes on Aug. 27.
The burglaries, both in houses where people were home, happened about 4 a.m., arrest warrants charged. They also accused Alston, 18, of stealing a $500 bike from one home and $1,000 worth of gift cards from one car and less-valuable thefts from six.
Deputies said all the incidents on Aug. 27 happened in the area of Turner Farm and Red Brick roads, east of N.C. 50 and south of Garner.
Alston’s bail after the charges were added Thursday rose to $265,000.
