Cancer support group

The Healing Hope Cancer Support Group will meet Monday, Feb. 16, at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 15772 N.C. 50 North, Garner. The group offers support for those whose lives have been or are being affected by cancer. For details, go to

Feed My Sheep Food Pantry

Christ Community United Methodist Church will open their Feed My Sheep Food Pantry Saturday, Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. until noon or until food runs out. Bring your identification card. Christ Community United Methodist Church is located at 1082 Amelia Church Rd., Clayton.

Ash Wednesday service

Mount Zion United Methodist Church will host Ash Wednesday services at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 15772 N.C. 50 North, Garner. Each service will be 10-15 minutes long and will include the imposition of ashes and time for personal reflection. For details, go to

•  Shiloh Baptist Church hosts GriefShare, DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids support groups at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at 3414 N. Shiloh Road, Garner. There is no cost, and participants may enter at any session. Child care is available upon request. For more information, visit
