The Longest Night

Mount Zion United Methodist Church will host “The Longest Night” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at 15772 N.C. 50, Garner. “The Longest Night” is a service dedicated to those who mourn the loss of a loved one, broken relationships, insecurity, and other tragedies of life that leave people isolated during the holidays. 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23: Christmas candlelight communion.

4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24: Family interactive service.

8 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24: Traditional candlelight communion.

Support groups

Shiloh Baptist Church hosts GriefShare and DivorceCare support groups from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays at 3414 N. Shiloh Road, Garner. There is no cost, and participants may enter at any session. Child care is available upon request. For more information, visit www.shilohgarner.org.
