We Are One Community Outreach in conjunction with Concerned About People Inc., will host “Housing a Community” benefit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at The Garner Lions Club, 305 West Main St., Garner. This event is aiming to raise funds for the homeless and displaced families of N.C. Jermel Thomas and Stephanie Malone organized “We Are One Community Outreach” to aid homeless families by helping them to find shelter.
The campaign goal is to raise $50,000 through the benefit dinner to enhance the organization’s programs. We Are One Community Outreach has a mission to provide an outlet to aid the homeless, poverty families, abused women newly released from prison, vision impaired and to conjoin with other non-profit organization to enhance and reach goals.
Advance tickets for the dinner are $35. There will also be a raffle for a 32’ flat screen TV.
