Free Baseball Clinic

The 2014 Narron Family Free Baseball Clinic for seventh-graders will get underway at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Smithfield-Selma High School, 700 Booker Dairy Road, Smithfield.

Seventh grade marks the first year players can try out for their school teams and is the dividing point between youth leagues and higher skill levels of amateur play.

This free clinic, with hitting, pitching, catching, base running and infield and outfield play drills, will show players the skills they need to hone to improve their chances of advancing in the game.
