Why Randolph-Macon? “Being up there at the school, I found out I had a lot in common with the guys already on the team. They’re great guys and coaches and I get the chance to be a part of a great football program.”

Major: Communications

Notable: Brandon was a Greater Neuse River 4A all-Conference selection as a senior at West. He was a three-year varsity player for the Wildcats, helping West reach the playoffs as a senior and a third-place finish in the GNRC. .. He lined up at wide receiver, strong safety and played on several special team units for West. … Brandon said he thrived under the leadership of Coach Williams. “I’ll always remember his intensity and what he did for me to help me develop as a player,” he said. … He thinks the key to a successful college career is becoming a more efficient player: “I need to be able to slow the game down in my mind so I don’t waste any movement on the field.”

West Johnston coach Jimmy Williams: “Brandon is a very unique guy. And the film room experience was not a pleasant one for him early in his career. But he took to the teaching and made himself a great player. He’s just a warrior. There was nothing he would not do for West Johnston football.”
