Why NGU? “I really like NGU in general with the smaller classes and Christian values that help set good standards for a healthy lifestyle, the way God would want us to live. I love the coaches who have a great understanding of the game of baseball. I can’t wait to learn a lot from Landon Powell and Jon Coutlangus.”

Major: Buisness Administration

Notable: Jonathan, of Garner, will pitch and play the outfield for North Greenville. He’s a left-hander who also played some first base in addition to pitching and the outfield in high school games. … He wants to get stronger in the weight room and improve his focus as he gets ready for college baseball. … He was an all-tournament selection at the NCHE last spring. … Jonathan will play for a Triangle baseball legend with the Crusaders, former Apex High standout and high MLB draft pick Landon Powell. Powell is the second-year head coach at the school.
