Notable: Zack specializes in the freestyle springs, the 50 and 100. He helped Garner win the Greater Neuse River 4A Conference championship as a senior, swimming on the winning 200 free and 200 medley relay teams and taking the 100 (51.29 seconds) and 200 (1:53.57) frees individually. … The Trojans have won three straight boys league championships with Zack contributing heavily. … He is the first Garner boys swimmer to sign a scholarship. … Zack says he needs to expand his dry land training in order to be at his best in college swimming.
