A man arrested Nov. 5 on secret-peeping charges has now been charged with breaking into a house near N.C. State University in the predawn hours of Oct. 31 and sexually attacking a 20-year-old woman there.
Pierre Ulysses Coley, 26, was being held in the Wake County Detention Center on Tuesday when police accused him of the attack on Enterprise Street. Coley was charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree sexual offense.
Coley, for whom authorities list no permanent address, was arrested Nov. 5 on the secret-peeping charge after police accused him of using a cellphone to take a picture of a woman in a Target store Oct. 12.
On Oct. 26, police distributed a security camera photo of a man leaving the store and asked the public to help find him. Tips in response to that request led them to Coley, police said.
