Get to know her: Gayle is a 6-year-old available for adoption through Triangle Beagle Rescue. She is a snuggle bug who loves being around people and other dogs. She is very well-behaved, uses a doggie door and does not need to be crated. Gayle has lots of personality and is very spunky. She does not like being alone, so she would do best in a home with other pets. She is uncomfortable with small children.
For more information: To learn more about Gayle and Triangle Beagle Rescue’s other dogs, email firstname.lastname@example.org or go to www.tribeagles.org. Adoption fees are $250 or $150 for senior dogs and include all vet work. Potential adopters must fill out an application online and have a phone interview and a home visit. The group holds adoptathons monthly on the second Saturday at PetSmart, 3615 Witherspoon Blvd., Durham, and on the fourth Sunday at Animall in Cary Towne Center.
The group’s Beagle Fest is set for 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28, featuring an off-leash play area; contests for biggest ears, best howl and more; a silent auction and refreshments. The event at Sunny Acres Pet Resort, 5908 US Hwy 70 East, Durham, will benefit the rescue group.
