Yoga classes at library

The following yoga classes are scheduled for Thursday at North Regional Library, 7009 Harps Mill Road, Raleigh: Gentle mat yoga from 9:10 to 10:30 a.m. and stress reduction with chair yoga from 10:40 to 11:30 a.m. Admission is free. Bring two towels. To register, call 919-870-4000.

Body Art for kids

Paddle the Pond

A canoeing program for ages 6 and older with accompanying adult is scheduled from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Historic Yates Mill County Park, 4640 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh. After basic instruction, explore the pond’s many features as seen only from the water. Canoes, paddles and life jackets will be provided. Cost is $10 per boat. Pre-registration is required.
