Pet of the Week: Snickers

Get to know her: Snickers is a very sweet beagle, about 3-1/2 years old, who is available for adoption through Triangle Beagle Rescue. Her adoption fee has been reduced to $125 through the sponsorship of a TBR supporter. Snickers is a little timid and jumps when startled, so she needs a very loving home with patience and understanding until she feels comfortable. She has never had an accident in the house and can be left out all day without any beagle destruction. Snickers loves to run, so she definitely needs a fenced-in yard so she can explore until her highly trained beagle nose is content. She is very good with other dogs and cats and has never shown any aggressive tendencies. Snickers has her own YouTube link: youtu.be/rBn0kHUnyNU.

For more information: To learn more about Snickers and Triangle Beagle Rescue’s other dogs, email info@tribeagles.org or go to www.tribeagles.org. Adoption fees are $250 or $150 for senior dogs and include all vet work. Potential adopters must fill out an application online and have a phone interview and a home visit. The group holds adoptathons monthly on the second Saturday at PetSmart, 3615 Witherspoon Blvd., Durham, and on the fourth Sunday at Animall in Cary Towne Center.
