The Wake County Public School System will hold a State of the Schools community forum ThursdayAug. 23 at Southeast Raleigh High School.
Wake Schools Superintendent Tony Tata and other education leaders will give an update on the school system, where the majority of the more than 150,000 students will start a new school year Aug. 27.
The forum is open to the public. Simultaneous Spanish/English interpretation will be available. Call the school system’s Office of Family and Community Engagement at 919-431-7800 by TuesdayAug. 21 to arrange for an interpreter for a language other than Spanish.
Streamed live at www.wcpss.net, the forum will start at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Southeast Raleigh High, 2600 Rock Quarry Road. The event is sponsored by the school system, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and the Wake Education Partnership. From staff reports
