The Downtown Raleigh Alliance will recognize Shop Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29. The event encourages shoppers to patronize small businesses the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
The Raleigh Flea Market is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings, the Shoppes at Dorton and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen and booths. The Flea Market will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving weekend but will not be open Friday, Nov. 29.
