Girl Scout earns Gold Award
Victoria Daniels of Raleigh, a member of Girl Scout Troop #1725, has received the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. For her Gold Award project, Daniels created “Fancy Feet & Healthy Eats,” a program designed to provide dance education and information on healthy eating habits in her community. Daniels is the daughter of Keith and Tonya Daniels. She is a senior at Enloe High School.
Jones selected for ‘Leading for Results’
Virginia Jones, human resources director for the town of Wake Forest, recently completed the “Leading for Results” program at the UNC School of Government as a Local Government Federal Credit Union Fellow. Jones was among 75 people from across North Carolina identified as emerging leaders in local government. She was selected in a competitive process from among 250 applicants to the program. She has been the town’s human resources director since March 2013.
