Bereavement camp

Comfort Zone is seeking 65-80 volunteers for a three-day weekend bereavement camp program that will be held at Camp Kanata in Wake Forest on March 28-30. The program will serve children ages 7-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or guardian. For more information, call 804-337-3430 ext. 208.

Greenway patrol

The Raleigh City Council has approved a volunteer program for residents interested in patrolling greenways. The program is designed to promote greenway courtesy and safety, provide information to the public and summon aid for greenway users. W-F guest services

Wake Forest seeks volunteers to work at the guest services desk in the lobby of town hall. Duties will include greeting visitors on the phone and in person and directing them to their destination. Volunteers must attend an orientation to learn about guest desk responsibilities, participate in a tour of town hall and submit a background check form. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

SPCA of Wake County

The SPCA of Wake County needs volunteers for various activities at adoption centers and events. For more information, visit www.spcawake.org.
