Beach music series at North Hills

North Hills presents the Midtown Beach Music Series every Thursday through Aug. 9. The schedule includes the following performers:

July 12 - Craig Woolard Band

July 19 - Jim Quick and the Coastline Band

July 26 - The Attractions

Aug. 2 - Liquid Pleasure

Aug. 9 - The Embers

Oak City 7

Oak City 7, a free summer concert series, also features local craft beers and food trucks from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on alternating Thursdays in City Plaza on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. Three bands perform for each show, and the next one is Thursday, June 12, featuring Crooked Fingers, Chris Hendricks Band and The Broadcast. Music on the Green
