FEM It Forward fundraising

FemCity Raleigh, a professional women’s group, has launched the FEM It Forward campaign to raise money for local charities.

In the campaign, which runs through Nov. 23, FemCity Raleigh members “sell” goods or services on Benefacting.org, with all of the money going to local charities such as Boys and Girls Clubs serving Wake County, Fight for 1in9 in Raleigh and Stop Hunger Now. Members post services they are willing to perform in exchange for a donation to charity, and then they and prospective donors come to terms. The donations are made directly to the charity through PayPal.

Any adult, professional women are invited to join FemCity Raleigh members in the campaign. For more information, go to www.benefacting.org/groups/FemCityRaleigh. Additionally, all community members are encouraged to support the FEM It Forward campaign by “sponsoring” participants’ posted benefactions at the same Web address.
