New homebrewing club in northern Wake

A new homebrewing club will meet the first Monday of each month at White Street Brewing Co., 218 S. White St., Wake Forest. The first meeting is at 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3. Club membership at the associate level is free to anyone of legal drinking age. Regular members who pay $20 in dues will get a club T-shirt and be granted voting rights as well as participation in all club events and competitions. Wake Forest Woman’s Club meeting

Wonderland Book Club

Diabetes support group party

A diabetes support group will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Milner Church, 1950 New Bern Ave., Raleigh. Mary Clark, certified diabetes educator and registered nurse, will speak about eating healthy, even during the holidays. The group will also have a holiday party with a white elephant gift exchange.
