Autism group for grandparents

A meeting for grandparents of children with autism is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the ASNC office, 505 Oberlin Road, Suite 230, Raleigh. The topic is Understanding and Managing Behavior. To RSVP, email Eileen Hancox at ehancox27@yahoo.com.

Wonderland Book Club

Wonderland Book Club will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 14, at the Center for Excellence, 3803-B Computer Drive, Suite 106, Raleigh. Members will exchange wrapped, used books, eat holiday cookies and finalize the reading schedule for 2013. Open to the public. The club offers a forum of readers, writers and live author discussions. Diabetes support group party

A diabetes support group will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Milner Church, 1950 New Bern Ave., Raleigh. Mary Clark, certified diabetes educator and registered nurse, will speak about eating healthy, even during the holidays. The group will also have a holiday party with a white elephant gift exchange.
