Autism support group for grandparents

A group to share information and experiences about the joys, concerns and challenges of having a grandchild with autism will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the Autism Society of North Carolina office, 505 Oberlin Road, Suite 230, Raleigh. IREM chapter meeting

IREM Greater Raleigh-Durham Chapter 105 will go on a walking tour of the American Tobacco Historic District starting at noon Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Tobacco Road Sports Café, 280 S. Mangum St., Durham. Registration is required by Wednesday, Jan. 9, to Candi McDowell at 919-863-8057 or candimcdowell@yorkproperties.com. Prepaid CPM, ARM, and CPM Candidate members may attend for free. The fee for guests, associate members and student members is $40, payable in advance.

Woman’s Club games, luncheon fundraiser

The Woman’s Club of Raleigh will hold B B C (+M), a bridge, bingo, canasta and mahjongg fundraiser on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 3300 Woman’s Club Drive, Raleigh. Proceeds will benefit Dress For Success Triangle NC and other community projects. The event will include the games, a luncheon and prizes.
