Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser

Artistic Abandon will host a fundraiser to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as part of its monthly Heart-full Art series at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at the gallery. Half of the proceeds will go to benefit the nonprofit organization. The other half will help one of Artistic Abandon’s customers, Deanna Gutowski, raise the funds she needs for a double lung transplant as a result of cystic fibrosis. Participants will paint the Artistic Abandon painting “Pink Roses.” Bring wine, beer or a nonalcoholic beverage, along with any snacks. All art supplies will be provided. Artistic Abandon will hold a raffle for gifts donated by local businesses that will benefit Gutowski, and a silent auction of extra sample paintings to benefit both the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Gutowski. Cost is $35. For more information or to register, visit www.ArtisticAbandon.com or call 919-901-7385.
