Relay For Life

The overnight Northern Wake Relay For Life is scheduled for June 8-9 on the grounds of Richland Creek Community Church, 3229 Burlington Mills Road, Wake Forest. Sports mom 101 clinic

A Sports Mom 101 Clinic is scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays, June 16, 23 and 30 at Alexander Family YMCA, 1603 Hillsborough St., Raleigh. The free clinic will help moms develop a fundamental understanding of sports, teach them a working vocabulary of the rules and give them hands-on experience with the drills. Rolesville fall sports registration

Registration for Rolesville’s fall athletics programs has begun. Registration for baseball and softball will be open to Rolesville residents through June 8; open registration runs June 11-21. Smile Train Triathlon

The fifth annual Smile Train Triathlon is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at Heritage Wake Forest, Swim Club, 804 Heritage Lake Road, Wake Forest. The race includes a 250-meter pool swim, a 12-mile bike ride and a 3.1-mile run. Smile Train is a nonprofit organization that conducts cleft lip and palate repair in under-developed countries.
