The Heritage boys’ swim team claimed the top spot Monday at the Triangle Aquatic Center.
Heritage’s 200 medley relay team of Grayson Davis, Gabe Nugent, Nathan Ciatti and Harrison Lynch got things going by winning the opening event in a time of 1 minute, 45.27 seconds, and the Huskies never looked back.
Heritage won each event for a total of 204 points, topping Corinth Holders (138), Wakefield (90) and Wake Forest-Rolesville (78).
Brendan Quinn later took the 200 and 500 freestyle events and helped the Huskies 400 freestyle relay team complete a sweep of the meet in the final event.

Ciatti also won first in the 200 individual medley and 100 breast stroke, Davis won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, and Nugent won the 100 freestyle. Hans Lang took first in the 50 freestyle before helping the Huskies 200 freestyle relay team to a first-place finish, along with Lynch, Nugent and Miles Saunders.
The Heritage girls’ swim team finished second in the meet, bested only by Wakefield.
The Wolverines amassed 177 points and never trailed during the meet.
Wakefield won all three girls’ relay events. Kaitlin Law, Cassie Eiden, Emily Rezac and Maddy Radwan won the 200 medley relay; Olivia Law, Hannah Monroe, Abby Cassario and Radwan won the 200 freestyle relay; and Olivia Law, Rezac, Eiden and Kaitlin Law won the 400 freestyle.
Kaitlin Law took the top spot in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke, while Cassario took the top spot in the 200 freestyle. Rezac won the 100 butterfly, and Radwan placed first in the 500 freestyle.
Michaela Carter took first in the 50 and 100 freestyle events for Corinth Holders, which finished third with 118, and Ally Davis took first in the 100 breaststroke for Heritage (148). Wake Forest-Rolesville finished with 62 points.
