Wake Forest rotary race

The 12th annual Wake Forest rotary race will take place at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at The Factory, 1839 S. Main St., Wake Forest. A 5K road race will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a one mile family fun run at 9 a.m. The Factory will also hold a family fun day at 10 a.m. The cost for the 5K is $25 on race day and $10 for the mile walk. Proceeds will benefit the Wake Forest Rotary Club’s Million meals project. Official times will be taken and awards will be presented. Ramblin’ Rose triathlon

The 8th annual Ramblin’ Rose triathlon will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday, May 19, at A.E. Finley YMCA, 9216 Baileywick Road, Raleigh. The event will include a 225-yard pool swim, 9 mile bike ride and a 2 mile run. The cost is $85 per individual and $140 for a relay team of two to three. Pink on the Greens golf tournament

The Pink on the Greens golf tournament will be held on Monday, June 10, at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at N.C. State University, 1509 Main Campus Drive, Raleigh. Tickets cost $90 per individual or $320 per foursome and includes a cart, range balls, goodie bag, continental breakfast, lunch and team prizes. Sponsorships are also available starting at $100. Hershey track and field games

The Hershey Track and Field Games will be held Tuesday, June 18, at Buffaloe Road Athletic Park, 5812 Buffaloe Road, Raleigh. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., followed by the events at 9:30 a.m. The games introduce youth to physical fitness through basic track and field events. Pickleball

Play pickleball from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St., Raleigh. Pickleball is played on a badminton court with a lowered net, a perforated plastic baseball and wood paddles. It is easy to learn but can develop into a competitive game for experienced players. 3K walk-a-thon in Raleigh

The Beauty Campaign will hold a 3K walkathon from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Anderson Point Park, 20 Anderson Point Drive, Raleigh. The cost is $35 and includes a t-shirt. Running and fitness expo

The Running Outfitters Health and Fitness Expo will be held at the McKimmon Center of N.C. State University, 1101 Gorman St., Raleigh. The expo will run from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. Over 30 exhibitors will offer apparel, shoes, equipment and accessories. City of Oaks Marathon

The sixth annual Raleigh City of Oaks Marathon is scheduled for 7 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at various locations in Raleigh. There are five different races available, including a half marathon, a 10K run, kids marathon and a marathon relay. Costs vary depending on race and registration date.
