Time for Tots at N.C. Museum of History
From 10 to 10:45 a.m., Time for Tots: Aw, Nuts! will teach about the history of peanuts, and children will make a nutty craft to take home. Ages 3-5 with adult, $3 per child. The museum is located at 5 E. Edenton St., Raleigh. For more information, call 919-807-7992.
Events at N.C. Museum of History
From 10 to 11 a.m., History Corner: The Corner Cure-All will teach children ages 6-9 (with an adult) about the toys and candies of the past in the 1920s pharmacy exhibit. From 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., History Hunters: Home Remedies will teach children ages 10-13 how our ancestors used home and store ingredients to stay well or get better. $3 per child for each event. From noon to 1:30 p.m., a donations-requested yoga session will be held at Evolve Movement, 8470 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh. Then, from 6 to 7 p.m., YogaFest Raleigh will be held on the 400 block of Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. The event features free outdoor yoga for all skill levels with local teachers.
Glenwood Live Concert Series
The Glenwood Live Concert Series will continue from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the North Street block off of Glenwood Avenue. Outside Soul will perform.
