Halloween Spooktacular

The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department will host Halloween Spooktacular from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St. The event is a free, family-oriented festival for children 12 and younger. This year’s festivities will include a costume contest, face painting, a haunted maze and cupcake walk, and more. Storytime at N.C. Museum of History

Craft Creations

The 32nd annual Craft Creations will be from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Quail Hollow Swim Club, 800 Orleans Place, Raleigh. The event will feature handmade goods from crafters, baked goods and more. Admission and parking are free, and a drawing will be held for a door prize.

Conservation Assistance Day

Autumn Extravaganza

The Autumn Extravaganza will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 207 E. Hargett St., Raleigh. There will be food, raffle prizes, a silent auction, apple and pumpkin pie baking contest, face painting and more. Admission is free.

Zombie Walk

The downtown Raleigh Zombie Walk will begin at 7 p.m. at Moore Square. The free family- and pet-friendly event will benefit the American Red Cross, Triangle Area Chapter. The Zompacalyptic After Party will be held around 9 p.m. at Tir Na Nog Irish Pub, 218 S. Blount St., and will feature live music, merchandise, prizes and more.

Sunday

Free yoga class
