Scholarships available

▪ Wake Electric will accept applications for 2015 college scholarships through March 16. The Fred M. Alford Memorial Scholarship is worth $2,000, and 16 Touchstone Energy Scholarships are worth up to $1,250 each. ▪ The board of advisers of the Wake County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Katie Dunn Rogers Scholarship. To learn about the qualifications for the scholarship, and to register, go to www.nccommunityfoundation.org. Applications for the renewable scholarship are due by April 25.

▪ The Sharma Family Scholarship, held with the North Carolina Community Foundation, is currently accepting applications for its 2015 scholarship cycle. To learn about the qualifications for the scholarship, and to register, go to www.nccommunityfoundation.org. Applications are due by April 11.

Parker Poe donates computers

Raleigh law firm Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP recently donated 30 computers to Ligon Middle School in Raleigh. In 2014, the firm also donated 30 computers to Enloe High School.
