A precinct judge bemoans some write-in votes
Well, I worked as an election judge on Nov. 4 and found it to be quite interesting.
But before I get into all of that, I want to thank the Democrat precinct judge and the chief precinct judge for all of their help throughout the day, as this was my first time acting as a judge.
The worst part of the whole thing was transferring the votes from the tape to the tally sheets after the polls closed. OK. that was not really bad. But what was a pain was the write-in votes. Counting the votes for actual people was fine, but when it came to counting votes for Obama and others, like Jesus, Allah and Buddha, for everything from board of education to sheriff, well, give me a break. Do you think so little of your right to vote?
