High School: Princeton

Height, Weight: 6-foot-2, 285 pounds

Position: Center

Major: Physical Education/Health Sciences

Why Greensboro? “I liked the campus and the city was somewhere I wanted to live. Football-wise, I like what I see from the program.”

Notable: Leith will play with former Princeton teammate Dakota Smith, who will play linebacker for Greensboro. The duo will room together as well. … Leith bounced around the line for the Bulldogs before settling in at center and helping anchor a line that bonded more and more as the season progressed and helped Princeton reach the 1A eastern regional championship game. “At the beginning of the year, we had a couple of guys on the line that didn’t get along,” Leith said. “But towards the end of the year, we bonded more and more and really started playing better every game.” … He played center, right guard and right tackle at various times as a junior but settled in an center as a senior. It’s where Leith wants to be: “I’ve always liked center. You’ve got the big guys in front of you who don’t more around as well as the guys on the outside.” … Leith wants to get into football coaching after graduation.

Princeton coach Derrick Minor: “Leith was a great leader for our line. It was something seeing the development our offensive line and him throughout the season and in the playoff run.”
