Why Wesleyan? “The coaching staff really caught my attention, along with their academics.”

Also Considered: Guilford

Notable: Garrett is going back to catching passes instead of throwing them as he heads to college. He was South’s quarterback as a senior, after spending his junior season at wide receiver. (He played quarterback both years of junior varsity ball as well.). “I didn’t expect to play wide receiver in college but their coaching staff liked the potential I showed,” Garrett said. “The competition part of playing wide receiver is something I really enjoy.”
