Nine earn All-Metro honors

Johnston County’s state track champions — North Johnston’s Dylan Pinder — and state runner-ups — Clayton’s Klein Evans in tennis and South Johnston’s Patrick Stephenson in golf — led a group of nine from the area to garner All-Metro selections for the spring high school sports season from the News & Observer.

Johnston County athletes were represented in every spring sport they participated in and seven schools had honorees.
