Five people were arrested Thursday after a meth lab bust that also involved three children.
Firefighters and hazmat teams were called to Silver Spring Court, a cul-de-sac in a neighborhood east of Fuquay-Varina and south of the Triple W Air Park. Three children were found in the residence and were cleaned off in a decontamination trailer, as were several adults.
Three children between the ages of 4 and 6 were found at the home, and their medical status was unknown late Thursday afternoon, said John Jones, a Wake County Sheriff’s Office spokesman. Jones said he is unsure if any of the three children or five adults had to be hospitalized after they were examined.
The following people have been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursors, maintaining a dwelling for keeping or selling drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office:
▪ Michael Curtis Jones and Jessica Jenny Nunez, both 29 and with an address of 6208 Silver Spring Court, Willow Spring. Both face additional charges of child abuse.
▪ Charles Scott Jones, 33, of 1817 Bowling Road, Fuquay-Varina
▪ Chelsea Lynn Nye, 28, address unknown
▪ Jason Neil Wall, 33, of 325 C.P. Stewart Road, Lillington.
