Family History Conference

National Reuse Day

Run Dig Rodeo

Hope Chapel of Apex’s annual Run Dig Rodeo races in Halloween costumes will be from 9-11 a.m. at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road, Cary. There will be food trucks. Proceeds from race registration and shirt sales will support the event and Hope Chapel’s community programs.

Registration for the one-mile fun run costs $10. Fun-run registration for a competitive runner and family of four is free for the competitive runner, $20 for four recreational runners and $5 for each additional runner. Registration for a dog costs $5.

Cary’s Great Pumpkin Carve will be from 2-8 p.m. on the Performance Green in downtown Cary, across from the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. There will be a pumpkin patch, carving stations and awards. It is free to attend, and pumpkins cost $3.

Hope Connection International fundraiser

A fundraiser for Hope Connection International will begin at 6 p.m. at the Family Farm, 1719 Avent Ferry Road, Holly Springs. There will be live music, vendors, food, games and a bonfire.
