Concert and Silent Auction
Bands from Athens Drive, Cary, Green Hope and Panther Creek high schools, along with the Triangle Youth Jazz Ensemble and special guest Swing Street Band will perform a jazz concert at 3:30 p.m. at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. Memorial Day Celebrations
Staff and volunteers from Hospice of Wake County will honor veterans at 10 a.m. at HeartFields, 1050 Crescent Green Drive, Cary; and at 3:30 p.m. at Jordan Oaks, 10820 Penny Road, Cary. During each 30-minute program, guests will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” and recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and veteran volunteers will lead a prayer, light candles, and recognize veterans in attendance.
