John Calvin Tulloh, 85, passed away peacefully in his home in Fuquay-Varina. He was born on April 11, 1929 in Logan, West Virginia, to parents Rev. Arnold E. and Leila King Tulloh and attended Barboursville High School, graduating in 1947. He lived a wonderful life in a variety of roles: husband, father, grandfather, veteran, manager, laborer, and teammate, playing college football for Washington & Lee and Mississippi State, travelling the world as a navy officer, marrying his love Nancy Lee Simons, and working in Clarksburg, WV. He moved his family to Shelbyville, IN for his job in industrial management while serving in the naval reserves and raising three children, and retired to Wilmington, NC before settling in a retirement community near Raleigh, NC, where he enjoyed being a grandfather. He will always be remembered for his integrity, work ethic, and unconditional love of his family. He was a quiet, respectful man who would enjoy the company of others at any moment. Always thinking of his family, he was forever supportive of his children as individuals. He will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy. He is survived by two sons, Brian (and Sharon) Tulloh of Dallas, TX, and David (and Bridgett) Tulloh of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and a daughter, Susan Tulloh (and Paul) Schincariol of Vancouver, B.C., and 5 grandchildren.
