Cheerleaders from Green Hope High School in Cary performed in the halftime show of the TaxSlayer Bowl.
Under the direction of coach Billie Walls, the group of 13 students traveled to Jacksonville, Fla. where they spent several days learning from choreographer Eric Little alongside hundreds of other dance and cheer students from across the nation.
At halftime, they took the field with their peers to perform in front of the crowd of more than 56,000.
The cheer team was invited to perform at the TaxSlayer Bowl by WorldStrides Heritage Performance. The squad was one of two schools invited from North Carolina.
