The victims of three unrelated homicides earlier this week have been identified by police, and one was a man police had said was missing.
Police say the body found in a pond off East Club Boulevard on Monday was Trinity James Wilkins, 38, of Durham. he also used the name Trinity Smith, police said Thursday, and they distributed a picture of him.
Wilkins had last been seen by his family Nov. 24, police said in a missing-person alert on Jan. 15.
The man found dead in a Colony Road townhouse Monday morning was Charles Ellis Hinnant, 63.

Also, a man found shot to death in a residential street near N.C. Central University on Tuesday morning has been identified as Lensy Arnett Gill III, 23, of Durham.
No arrests have been made in the three homicide investigations.
