Dollar General has purchased the former Walmart Express stores in Four Oaks and Princeton.
The discount chain will move its existing Four Oaks and Princeton stores into the former Walmart spaces, taking advantage of more square footage to offer fresh meat and produce, among other items. Dollar General will also offer gas.
In Four Oaks, the former Walmart Express is at 6043 U.S. 301. In Princeton, the address is 509 Dr. Donnie H. Jones Blvd.
“Dollar General is excited to add these locations to our existing store base,” said Todd Vasos, the company’s chief executive. “We look forward to the opportunity to better serve our customers in these communities by continuing to provide the convenience and value they expect from Dollar General.”
