Multiple townhomes in North Raleigh were damaged Friday afternoon by a fire near 9500 Prince George Lane, southwest of the intersection of Six Forks and Strickland roads.

Multiple townhomes in North Raleigh were damaged Friday afternoon by a fire.

The fire, with visible flames and lots of smoke, affected homes near 9500 Prince George Lane southwest of the intersection of Six Forks and Strickland roads.

Video: A fire destroyed about 12 units at the Six Forks Station complex in North Raleigh Friday afternoon. No one was reported injured in the blaze. Daniel Bargas tells how he helped residents out of the burning building.

The Red Cross says it is assisting 19 residents displaced by the fire. At least 11 occupied homes were destroyed and another was vacant, according to the Red Cross.
