Raleigh's Twisted Fork closes restaurant to repair fire damage

From staff reports

A kitchen fire at the Twisted Fork will temporarily close the Triangle Town Center eatery while repairs are made.

No one was hurt in the fire that started around 11:40 a.m. Saturday, according to a statement on the restaurant's webpage, but the fire caused enough damage that repairs and renovations will be necessary. The statement also thanked firefighters and restaurant workers for their quick responses.

A timeline for repairs was not immediately available.

The restaurant is owned by Rocky Top Hospitality, which also operates Deans Seafood in Cary, The Daily Planet in downtown Raleigh, and catering facility 1705 Prime in North Raleigh.
