A raccoon that died after a fight with three dogs on Brentwood Road on Sunday tested positive for rabies, police said Monday.
The incident happened in the 3400 block of Brentwood, officials said. The raccoon was taken to a state lab for testing, and results came back Monday.
The three dogs involved are current on their rabies vaccinations and will get booster shots, police said.
A person who touched the raccoon has begun getting post-exposure rabies treatment, they said.
