A power outage Thursday morning knocked out electricity to about 1,500 Duke Energy Progress customers in the Trinity Road area in western Raleigh, including Cardinal Gibbons High School.
The company said on its website that the outage was reported at 8:46 a.m., and a spokeswoman said all customers except the school were back online at 9:42 a.m.
Cardinal Gibbons was expected to have power back by 11 a.m., she said
The cause was listed as damage to Duke equipment. Police reported no accidents, however, and the spokeswoman did not have information on what the problem was.
Police directed traffic at some intersections while signals were out.
