A stolen car carrying five teenagers crashed into a house early Thursday while a Wake County sheriff's deputy was chasing it for speeding on Ten Ten Road, officials said.
The crash happened on Cinder Bluff Drive, a dead-end street off Fanny Brown Road south of Ten Ten Road, deputies said.
The house had minor damage to its garage door from the crash, a sheriff’s office spokesman said.
Three of the youths jumped from the car and ran after the crash ended the chase that began at midnight, the spokesman said. One of those and the two who stayed with the car were taken into custody, then released to their families after deputies determined that they were under 16 years old.
