Police charged a Virginia man late Thursday with trafficking in both heroin and opiates.
Jamal Bullock, 45, of 1507 Woodbridge Drive in Woodbridge, Va., was arrested after questioning at police detective headquarters on Atlantic Avenue, records show.
They do not disclose where Bullock was taken into custody.
According to arrest warrants, Bullock is accused of having more than 28 grams of heroin and 12 “strips” of suboxone, a drug that is intended to help people end opiate addiction and comes in strips that are cut up and put under the tongue.

The drug is abused, however, and used by non-addicts to get high.
Bullock was being held in lieu of $500,000 bail and scheduled for a court appearance Friday.
